"BEN YEHUDA STREET" 24 x 30, oil/palette knife. I managed to sneak three family members and a musician friend into this vibrant Jerusalem scene. Available at the Brocha Teichman Gallery in Lawrence, NY.

  1. This is an important place in Jerusalem and establishes the city as a walking venue as well as a cafe culture, in part. The artist has kept a distance from the subjects to allow the viewer to survey the scene, before deciding what to hone in on. The story of Ben Yehudah is many small stories, and that changes based on the day and time of day.

    1. Thanks Judy. I've had this scene planned for years, - I guess I was waiting to finally have the nerve to paint it :-)
