"MAY THERE BE PEACE WITHIN YOUR WALLS", 20 x 16, and "STORMING THE GATES OF HEAVEN", 12 x 16. Both oils were done by palette knife.

    (Harris, right?) I know a few Judahs!
    I reworked the top one. It's a photo of Ein Kerem, Jerusalem. I love the spot. Very old and charming. I have done some plein air paintings of it, but this is from photographs. I do little thumbnail sketches but I don't spend too much time on them.
    In fact, check facebook. You'll see originally it had a lot of overgrown flowers above the doorway. I reworked it because I thought it didn't work as well. It sparked quite a conversation with many artists making suggestions. Lots of good tips offered there actually...
