"SHALOM'S UPSHERIN", 12 x 16, oil/canvas. On the occasion of my grandson's first haircut at age 3. It's an ancient Jewish custom to wait until then to cut a boy's hair.

I love how these two little rural structures lean toward one another. It makes me smile whenever I pass them. It was only a matter of time until I got around to painting them.
